This clay is a natural choice for schools, hobby potters as well as established potters. Is it smoother and more plastic, featuring a 10% addition of sand to give a slightly open texture to the clay. This makes it the perfect choice for body or hand building, throwing, modelling, coiling and tile making and yet still hard enough to retain shape for stacking and storing. As a dual-purpose clay, it can be used for making both earthenware and stoneware pottery. The difference lies in the way this is biscuit fired.
